Care Coordinator RN

IndependenceFirst an organization committed to empowering persons with disabilities is seeking a compassionate, responsible Care Coordinator to coordinate and facilitate services for our at-home consumers.  This salaried position requires a current RN license and home care, rehabilitation, or public health experience.  We value our employees and offer excellent benefits, including over 3 weeks vacation, company paid dental and life insurance, low cost health insurance, a casual work atmosphere, and a 403(b) plan.


Central City Satellite Intern

IndependenceFirst, an organization committed to empowering persons with disabilities is seeking a part time (20 hours per week) Central City Satellite Intern to join our team. Responsibilities include assisting with the identification of independent living needs, developing IL plans, participating in peer support activities, providing information and referral, IL skills instruction and advocacy for our consumers.

The successful candidate will have a firm belief in consumer control and the IL philosophy, strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, a self-starter and must be able to work independently.  High School diploma or equivalent and/or  life experience with disability may be substituted in lieu of, in full or part of academic requirements.
